Hosting on your own
While we strongly encourage to use our SaaS, we understand some companies have their own, legitimate reasons to prefer installing Salmon on their own server machines.Please be advised this is not a simple task. First of all, you should not use a shared hosting, only either a VPS or dedicated server. Depending upon your intends, an Salmon instance may consume consequent server resources (memory, cycles, I/O). You will need to install Java, Glassfish, Xampp and you should have the ability to configure them. A fine tune up only comes from someone who properly understand Salmon mechanisms and underlying technologies.
